RADIO INDUSTRY-THE NEXT DEEJAY!

Driving alone without a company surely will make us boring especially when it comes to a traffic jam. Cars seems like not moving even for inches. Stress will surely control the situation. And what we always do to avoid this situation is by turning on the radio. However, besides playing songs, radio is also one of the entertainment media that provides lots of benefits and latest information. In this world of radio broadcasting, there is some talented people that play a big role on attracting listeners. These people are the deejays(DJ)!
Being a successful DJ is not an easy way, where hard work is needed in order to make it real. If you want to be a DJ, you need to start from zero. Here are a few tips for on how to become a good DJ. Firstly, try to understand the real radio broadcasting world by casting a small role such as news writer(prepare the scripts for the news reader in the radio station) first or maybe you can be the music executive first before getting the chance to be a DJ.

Secondly, once you get the chance being a DJ, the radio company will place you in the most hardest and the lowest rating slot such as midnight slot as your first test. Here, you need to work much more harder to catch your boss's heart by performing extremely well. You need to fulfill your slot with the most interesting segment in order to attract your listeners and rise up your rating. After you manage to be dominant among the other hot, senior DJ, I'm sure that you will be promoted for more comfortable slot in which you are now almost half way to your target of being a famous DJ.

The next thing needed to be practice is maintain your reputation and keep doing well and the rest is up to you, how you treat your fans, how you keep your ima
ge clean, how you exposes yourself to public and what can you offer to the listeners that will make them remember you hard work. That is the real thing that will award you with success!.........

Skin Colour Discrimination

Colour discrimination occurs when individuals were treated differently than other person who are similarly situated because of their skin. This also can occur race discrimination. It happened when member in the same race are treated differently because of their skin colour. For example , the employer does not hire anyone who skin colour are darker , but does hired light skin or white persons of all races.

In Latin America and Caribbean , discrimination against black people and indigenous people are generally occurs. This situation also happened in America and some other country even the government are trying so hard to solve this issue from overwhelming. However , we can see that the racism level is decreasing and black people are started to be welcomed. For example like the election of President of United State that belong to Barrack Obama , black people.

In Mexico for instant, the Afro-descendant population state that less than two percent of the country's 104 million people. A survey that is published in October 2000 by the Mexico City newspaper El Universal state that 56.6 percent of respondents believed that there was racism in Mexico, while 61.1 percent said that there was discrimination based on the colour of people's skin.

Earlier this year in Ecuador, the government sponsored the First National Survey on Racism and Racial Discrimination. 37,500 people were interviewed, 65 percent believed that there was racism in their country, and 88 percent said that blacks were suffered the worst discrimination.

The studies conducted by the Ministry of Education in Brazil there is the country with the largest number of Afro-descendants in Latin America and the Caribbean show's that a 2.2 percent of university students are black, 18 percent are of mixed-race heritage, and the majority, 80 percent are white.

Nowadays, skin colour discrimination should not exist anymore.People shoul be treated same as another. People should respect each other without thinking about skin colour or other thing. In modern era, our mind must be opened. We should consider that every single person have their own potential to be succeed and we should not stop them from being successful just becauce of their skin colour different from each others.

Everyone should be given the same oppurtunity to live peacefully and have the same right in this world no matter who are there or wether there are black skin colour or white skin coloyr.

"The color of a person’s skin, more than their race, is becoming a key cause of racism"

COMMUNICATION

GESTURES-BODY LANGUAGES AND NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION(AMERICA)

Communication is a soft skill, involving speech, signals, writing and behaviour. It is a medium of interaction between someone with him/herself,as well as between someone and somebody else.

Most said that communication is only can be defined as words interaction, without realise that it's
also involving body languages and facial expressions which are practiced by everyone. For examples, police traffic handles traffic with hand movement,a kid responds with a smile when receiving an ice-cream, and a girl is blushing when being admired. This kind of nonverbal communication is called gestures.

Military signallers use hand and body gestures to direct flight operations aboard aircraft carriers.

Psychologically, gesture is the most easiest way of revealing one's real responses towards certain condition or situation.

Pointing can have a variety of uses and meanings.

In America, gestures are used just like in other country, but then, there are certain actions and motions that are translated as something negative or being rude! In normal social situations, Americans normally stand about 30 inches apart or less from one another, which is also considered their personal "comfort zone." But in certain Asians country, for west Indians and Puerto Ricans, straight and focus eye contact is considered to be rude and disrespectful, or may also indicate sexual overtones!

In the world of gestures, when we are travelling to other country, the 1st thing needs to come to mind is to remember the two A's - "Ask" and be "aware." If we see a motion or gesture that is new or confusing , ask a local person what it signifies. Then, be aware of the many body signs and customs around us. Together, we make gestures communication as a platform for different communities to live in peace...

GOTHIC GIRLS

Deep , dark and mysterious is what you have probably though about Goth Subculture...

The Goth subculture is a contemporary subculture found in many countries. It began in United Kingdom during the early 1980s. Members who belong to the Goth culture may or may not always share the same interest in terms of music , fashions and others. A group of people who feel comfortable within each other. There is no specific things that defined what you need to do or be to fit into the goth scence (except of course the black clothing !)

People in goth scence all have a different musical tastes,
follow different religions, have different occupations, hobbies and also fashion sense.Goth are free thinker, people who do not accept the moral rules of the society because they are told "This is just how it is" or "this is what God says".
Many goths today are goths for a variety of other reasons. They like a music or the club are better , they have goth friends and joined in with them or they just like staying up late nights and goths are the only ones awake to talk to.

Gothic fashion has also been associated with dark clothing that often goes towards black. Typical gothic fashion includes dyed black hair , dark eyeliner , black fingernails and black clothing (goths may or may not have piercings).

The gothic subculture has also been a source of inspiration for artists and musicians as well. This culture is also found with horror. Most artists who used the goth subculture as a base for their works always used romantic and mystic image for their work. Movie such as 'The Crow' and bands such as the Bauhaus helped established the gothic image as dark , depressing and even evil.

ž The data is taken from 2002 to 2008
ž The data is slightly dropped for the age of <> 64 years, the population grew slightly except for the year 2005 and 2006 which were unchanged.

CONCLUSION
So we can see that population in Malaysia always increases steadily annually for every stages of age.
There may be some economically factors which effect this result.
In future, we can conclude that the population in Malaysia may increase in the same way too.

demography

Since past few years,Malaysia's' population still doesn't show any drastic increases. The number is not decreasing from years to years, and maybe this is the result of the maturity of our Malaysia's' thinking as they are started to admit that 'quality is much more better than quantity'.. Having too much increases of our population could create troubles to our country as there are not enough hand to take care of all those teenagers, especially..isn't it right??!

Girl's Festival in Japan

Have you ever heard about the Girl's Festival? If you are not used to the Japanese custom, this might sound a bit rare to you. Actually it is a common custom practised by Japanese parents to celebrate their children especially the girls during the festival held. This to ensure their girl's happiness in the future ahead.

This festival was legally established in 1687. It exists since the Edo period (17-19 centuries) and is celebrated annually on the third day of March. Other name for this festival are "Hina-no-sekku", "Hina-Matsuri" which means "Doll's Festival" and "Momo-no-sekku" which means "Peach Blossom Festival".

On that day, the girls will be well dressed up and wear some make-up. It was uncommon for Japanese children to wear make-up but since this is their special day, they are given excuse to do so.

The most popular and "must have" things to celebrate the festival is the set of ornamental dolls, "hina-ningyo". Platforms with a red "hi-mosen" are use to display the doll set. The set of hina dolls and props in the house will be display to wish the girls happiness. Among the props are the peach blossoms, cube rice cakes, special coloured and diamond shaped rice cakes and white sake are made.

Although that, it is believed that any hina doll display should be taken down soon after the festival day ; otherwise the girls might have to wait for a long time to get married.
